This blog exists because I have a job that only demands 4 hours a week of work from me.
I have a lot of time to kill, yet I still need to look busy so that my job seems essential. I have a little office where I can turn my screen just enough so that passersby can't see it. They only know that I'm typing. And frankly, that's all anyone cares about: the appearance of activity.

I'm not effing kidding. No one ever questions me as long as I am typing stuff. EVER.
So I type. I type poems, I type fake e-mails, I type fake memos. I mostly type fake e-mails. Sometimes they get funny. To me, at least. So I have been doing this for about 5 months and it seems so sad to spend all this time TYPING and then just closing it without saving. The natural choice that involves some level of satisfaction? A blog. A blog where I post the stuff I am typing when pretending to be busy.
